We will cover plant selection, pot size, timing, growing media, light and temperature requirements, watering and ventiliation, and fertilization - everything you need to start your garden from scratch this spring! Tree/Shrub Pruning Workshop |
|
|
Description: |
Come join, ISA Certified, Arborist Robin Adair from Arbour Crest Tree Service for a hands-on pruning workshop. The pruning basics of how, when, where and why will be discussed in a class setting. Then a hands-on component will continue outside. The focus will be on proper pruning cuts on shrubs and fruit trees. As well, larger tree care will be discussed. Please bring your own: pruning tools, safety glasses and gloves, work clothes and questions. Cost: $30 for non-members and $15 for members. Pay deadline: Wednesday, May 3 by 4pm. *The importance of quality pruning tools and proper maintenance will be discussed in detail. |
